Gas, radiant electric and induction cooktops: zones that won't heat, touch controls that won't respond, igniters that won't stop clicking.
Common faults
A failed power board or a pan the zone doesn't detect. We test the board and the coil.
A failed control or a lock mode that's been switched on. We check the simple causes first.
A burnt element or a stuck infinite switch. Both are replaceable.
Blocked ports or a damaged burner head; cleaning or a new head.
How we diagnose
We check the supply, test each zone or burner, and read error codes. A cracked glass top is quoted as a part price before anything is ordered.
Switches, elements, igniters and most boards are worth repairing. A cracked ceramic top on an older cooktop often costs close to a new unit, and we tell you that up front.
Pricing
$99 diagnostic visit, credited in full when you go ahead with the repair. Parts and labor are quoted in writing first. If a part has to be ordered, a deposit holds the booking and the balance is due when the job is done.
