Gas and electric dryers that run cold, take two cycles to dry, squeal or smell hot. We check the vent too, because a blocked vent causes more dryer problems than any part.
Common faults
A failed heating element, thermal fuse or gas igniter. We find out why it failed so it doesn't blow again next month.
Almost always airflow: lint in the blower or vent duct. We clear it into a bin and show you.
Worn drum rollers, idler pulley or belt. They're cheap parts, and fixing them early saves the motor.
Lint near the heat source. Stop using the dryer and call. We clean the cabinet and check the high-limit thermostat.
How we diagnose
We measure the element and fuses, check the gas valve coils on gas units, and measure airflow at the outside vent. Then you get a written price.
Dryers are simple machines and nearly always worth repairing. The exception is a seized motor in an old unit, and we tell you that before any work.

Pricing
$99 diagnostic visit, credited in full when you go ahead with the repair. Parts and labor are quoted in writing first. If a part has to be ordered, a deposit holds the booking and the balance is due when the job is done.
Questions

We clear the lint we can reach from the dryer and the vent hood during a repair visit. Long roof runs need a vent-cleaning service, and we tell you when that's the case.
It can be: lint is flammable. Unplug the dryer (and shut off gas on gas units) and book a visit.
