Gas, electric, dual-fuel and pro-style ranges: burners that won't light or keep clicking, dead control boards, door latches stuck after a self-clean.
Common faults
Clogged burner ports, a cracked igniter or a misaligned cap. Often a cleaning, sometimes a new igniter.
Moisture after spills, or a failed spark switch or module. We dry, test and replace only what failed.
A failed control board or a power fault. We test the supply before ordering an expensive board.
A failed latch motor or switch. We release it safely and replace the latch.
How we diagnose
We test every burner, the spark circuit and the oven cavity. On pro-style ranges we check burner flame quality as well as ignition.
Ignition, burners and latches are always worth repairing. Pro-style and dual-fuel ranges are worth repairing even when the fix is a control board.
