What Crest Appliance Repair collects, why, and the choices you have. Last updated November 2, 2026.
Crest Appliance Repair is an appliance repair business in Orange County, California. Questions about this notice: [email protected] or (949) 295-5501.
When you book online: your name, phone number, e-mail address (if you give one), ZIP code, the appliance and what it is doing. When you call, text or WhatsApp us: your number and what you tell us.
When you visit the site, our own server counts page views and taps on the call, WhatsApp and booking buttons, and which kind of site or ad you came from. It keeps a shortened, salted hash of your IP address (to count visits and stop spam), never the address itself. The site sets no cookies of its own.
If you come from one of our Google ads, Google's tag records whether you then booked or tapped our phone number, so we can see which ads bring real requests. Google may use cookies for this; see Google's privacy policy and Ad Settings.
When you book online after visiting from an ad, the e-mail address and phone number you entered are passed to Google's tag, which turns them into a one-way code (a hash) before sending, so Google can match the booking to the ad. Google does not receive them in readable form from us.
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, the Google tag is not loaded at all, and nothing above is sent to Google.
To answer you, schedule and carry out the repair, send a written estimate and invoice, and keep the records the law requires. We do not sell your personal information.
Only the services we use to run the business: our website host, e-mail, the messaging app that tells the technician about a new booking, and Google (ads measurement, as above). Each uses it only to provide that service.
Booking details for as long as we need them for the job, any warranty, and tax records. Visit counts are kept in the hashed form described above.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We honor Global Privacy Control as an opt-out. Write to [email protected]; we will reply within 45 days and will not treat you differently for asking.
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
